When Dreams Die

I strove for my dream and reached it!

At first, it was amazing! I’d achieved my dream! Life was great! Or was it? As I continued on this vaunted path, I began to see things I hadn’t expected. Pain, suffering, stress on a level hardly imaginable. This wasn’t a part of my dream!

I’m confused, dizzy with the reality of what I’ve achieved.
