My mother passed away about 5 years ago. In all that time, I’ve never truly dealt with the loss. I’ve never truly grieved. I know she’s gone but emotionally, I’ve never let it sink in. Any time I think about it, really think about it, the strong emotions start to come out. I quickly think about something else because I can’t handle the pain. I’m a coward, I suppose.
